Community Engagement

Our first community engagement event was held on Tuesday 26th November at the George in Rye. This event saw invited guests from the Rye Business Community who were given a presentation on the proposals by Steve Neocleous of Silverstone Communications, Molly McLean of Whaleback Planning Consultants and Rob Pollard of RX Architects.

All attendees had an opportunity to look at the proposals and to ask questions of the project team and all were given the opportunity to complete a feedback survey so that they could provide their thoughts in more detail.

This was a well attended event and the proposals were positively received with most attendees really pleased to see the inclusion of affordable housing and positive comments about the positive effect this much needed housing would have on Rye.
